Hello every one!
Today I still feel like just drawing for fun.
These drawings are in 2.5×3.5 inch sketch cards. So that means they are pretty small drawings. Think business card size.
For some reason I ended up using crayons, crayola markers and a gel pen on this. I wanted a scratchy texture on the feathers. I think it turned out well.
My daughter wanted another cat…… I think she has a favorite animal for me to draw. This image is just crayola markers and a dash of colored pencils. My daughter told me to stop working on it. She did not want me to mess up HER kitty cat drawing.
The last drawing that was for fun drawing is a big beautiful Bee! It is just Crayola Markers and a Gel Pen.

Hello every one!
Today I feeling like just drawing for fun.
These drawings are in 2.5×3.5 inch sketch cards. So that means they are pretty small drawings. Think business card size.
I started out using basic crayola markers and a white gel pen. Once that was done I added a few highlights and shadows with color pencils.
I did not want to use my “normal” Mermaid colors. I wanted a Yellow fin with a hint of orange. The green part was a last minute decision.
My daughter wanted me to draw a cat. I let her decide the colors for it. I was surprised she wanted it to be red.
The lady bug was finished pretty quickly. I added the white dots just so I could play with my gel pen.
I plan on creating a few more tonight!

Have you ever tried to rework a old comic that you have created?
I am doing that right now. I am in the process or adding color to all of the pages. I wish I would have saved it in different layers. All well, I like the coloring challenge.

Rummaging in my older files i noticed that i did not color the first THE PURRFECT ADVENTURES comic. This travesty must be remedied before the next big printing!
A few months ago I planned on printing a collected 2018 edition with all the THE PURRFECT ADVENTURES comics in color. After I color this comic I will have to work on at least one more for the collection.
The Collected Edition is not the end of the series. I still plan on creating more stories for this character. I just want the story arc to be in a collected volume.
