Watching fireworks is one of my favorite 4th of July holiday traditions. Unfortunately, it was almost rained out this year. The first set of fireworks that were fired were duds. They fizzled before they had a chance to become colorful explosions.
Roughly 30 minutes to an hour later the rain became a mist. Then, the show was ready to begin. The night sky became filled with a riot of color. Beautiful, glittery lights were all around us. (Multiple locations setting off fireworks at the same time.)
The recap is that his years firework celebration started out poorly. But is the end the light show was simply magical.
